The City of Huntington Woods has a City Manager form of government where a professional manager oversees the day-to-day operation of the City departments and services while the City Commission is responsible for the legislative and policy decisions of the City. The City Manager is appointed by the City Commission whose functions and duties include responsibility for personnel management; keeping the Commission informed on issues and interaction with residents and businesses in the community.
Residents are welcome and encouraged to contact the City Manager to discuss issues, concerns or ideas for the City. He is available to meet at your home if that is more convenient.
